Resources for High School Students:Youth today face many challenges in school and at home. There are numerous resources available to help young people who are considering suicide. The National Suicide Hotline is 1-800-SUICIDE (1-800-784-2433) or 1-800-273-TALK (1-800- 273-8255). Concerned teens can also visit www.suicide.org or www.suicidepreventionlifeline.org. The hotline number in Travis County is 512-472-HELP (4357). An additional online resource is the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. If you have heard a friend talk about suicide, please tell an adult immediately!
