Resources for Parents:
Announcing our PISD Parent Connections calendar of monthly free mini conferences. We will be offering several break out sessions the 2nd Tuesday of each month from October through May. Parents will be able to choose 2 sessions to attend each night from our list of presentations. We are very happy to have translators available for our Spanish and Vietnamese parents each night, too.

Calendar
Schedule Changes
We want to keep schedule changes to a minimum, therefore, at this time we are only considering the following reasons with respect to changes:
- Into/Out of TAKS Intervention classes.
- Into/Out of Band
- Into/Out of Pre AP classes
However, if you have a concern with your child's schedule, please contact his/her grade level counselor.
Counseling Groups
- Divorce: getting adjusted
- Anger management
- Coping with grief
- Coping with family changes
- Bullying
- Self-esteem
- Salvaging Sisterhood
Parents wanting their children to participate need to contact their child's counselor. If you would like for your child to participate in a group, the forms may be accessed by clicking here. Forms may be turned in to the counselor via e-mail or dropped off in the front office.
