Attention Class of 2009 Parents:

**The Class of 2008 Senior Celebration Committee would like to invite you to attend the remainder of the year meetings and to also participate in Senior Celebration. This will be your task for next year and they would like to share with you what you have to look forward to next year. If you are intersted in getting more information, please contact Ms. Ratliff at 512-594-1129. The final meeting dates are: May 19 and June 3. They are at 7:00pm in the Library. This year's Celebration will take place on Friday, June 6, 2008 from 10:00pm - 6:00am.

**The time is nearing for Senior Portraits for the Class of 2009

Your students were given information on May 12th about Senior portraits. You will be receiving a postcard in the mail soon with appointment dates. The photographer we will be using for Senior portraits for the yearbook is Prestige Portraits in Round Rock. While you are not limited to using this photographer fro senior pictures, you will be required to at least take the senior portrait if you wish your child's picture to be in the yearbook next year. The Counselor's Corner

Attention Junior Parents:

Have you made your appointment to meet with Ms. Ramirez to discuss your child's graduation plan, credits and current ranking? If not, please call 594-1127 to make your appointment. June 10, 2008 is the deadline to make an appointment for this school year. Also if your child signed up for an off period, parents are being required to meet with Ms. Ramirez either in person or on the phone. If this does not happen by June 10th, then your child will not be assigned off periods next school year.

Junior students should have turned in their class schedule choice sheets for 2008-2009 school year. Please make sure your child has done so. If not, they will be assigned classes as the counselors see fit . They will not have a choice. Next year is very important to them as they will be seniors. Encourage them to make sure they have taken care of this as soon as possible. If you would like to confirm that your child's choice sheet has been returned, you may contact Ms. Ratliff at 512-594-1129 and she will be able to help you.
