Incoming 6th Grade News

As our 5th graders wrap up the end of their year we will put updates on the webpage to keep them posted on the lastest news for them:

6th grade camp

Thursday, August 13th 8:00-12:30pm

All incoming 5th grade students are invited to attend 6th grade camp. This is a time to tour the school, meet teachers and have questions answered about the upcoming year. Class schedules will be available at camp.

Thursday, August 20th 6:00-7:30pm

This a chance for the 6th grade parents to tour the school, meet the teachers and have questions answered about the upcoming year.

PCMS Upcoming Events

(this is not a complete list of ALL PCMS events)

Please note that the Department of State Health Services has implemented new immunization requirements for school age children for the 2009-2010 school year.

This will primarily affect the 6th graders going to 7th grade next year.

Tdap-one booster if 5 years have passed since the last dose of a tetanus-containing vaccine.
Varicella-2 doses required
Meningococcal-one dose required

Students must have these vaccines completed and the records on file with the school nurse to allow entry into 7th grade classes. Please bring these records as soon as possible.

2009-2010 New Student Registration:

August 10, 12: 8:30-4:00, August 11, 13: 1:00-7:00

• Registration flyer with Proof-of-Residency requirements English / Spanish
• All students entering 7th grade must have Two varciella doses received on or after birthday/or documented varciella illness, Meningococcal booster and the Tdap/Td booster within last 5 years.
