My name is Ana Bowie; I am a Licensed Master Social Worker and have been working with youth and families for over 13 years. As the Campus Social Worker, I provide crisis intervention counseling to students and families. The types of situations that might require my involvement or assistance are: teen pregnancy or teen parenting, mental health concerns (such as depression or anxiety), teen dating violence, unaccompanied youth or displaced families, family violence or child abuse, grief and loss support, and drug and alcohol abuse. Assistance is available with school supplies for families who are financially unable to provide these materials. Please contact me for assistance. Some holiday food baskets are available upon request. For counseling needs, parents should contact their student's grade level counselor and if the situation requires my suport, the counselor will make a referral to me. My office hours at Pflugerville High School are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. On Wednesday, I am at Pflugerville Middle School from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. I can be reached at 594-0539 or ana.bowie@pflugervilleisd.net.
