• 5th - Students Return; due date for Kinder- 5th G/T paperwork from teachers & parents/ Parent waiver forms due

• 5th-30th -Window opens for parents/teachers to nominate K-5th grade students to be tested for Gifted/Talented curriculum
• 6th - Citizen of the Month 7:35am
• 11th - G/T Testing window for grades other than 2nd & 6th begins
• 13th - K,1st,2nd Awards Assemblies
• 14th - 3rd, 4th, 5th Awards Assemblies
• 15th - Peace Assembly 1:45pm
• 18th - MLK Holiday
• 19th - Science Fair Projects Due
• 21st - Science Fair Parent Viewing Night
• 26th - Bluebonnet Book Voting
• 28th - Lifetouch Group/Spring Pictures
• 29th - G/T Testing window for grades other than 2nd & 6th ends

September

• 3rd - Parent Night Grade 4, 6:30pm - 7:30pm
• 7th - Labor Day Holiday
• 8th - Parent Night Grades 1-2, 6:30pm - 7:30pm

• 11th-25th - School Fundraiser

• 14th - Parent Night Grade 5, 6:30pm - 7:30pm
• 18th - Fight Free Assembly, 1:35pm
• 21st - Student Holiday/Staff PD day
• 22nd- PTO meeting @ 6:30pm

• 29th- 6:30-7:30 District PFLEX Information Night held at Spring Hill Elementary School Cafeteria

• 30th - Kids Invite Someone Special (Grandparents or other family member) for lunch -- classes of Ms. Izquierdo, Ms. Miller, & Ms. West

February

• 3rd- Citizen of the Month 7:35am
• 10th-11th - Jump Rope for Heart during Gym Class
• 12th-15th - Student Holiday
• 20th - Marathon Kids Final Mile Ceremony @ 11:00am
• 20th - Silent Auction 6:00pm
• 26th - Leopard Pride Pep Rally 2:15

• 26th - Deadline for parent notification of student admission to G/T Program

October

• 1st - Kids Invite Someone Special (Grandparents or other family member) for lunch -- Ms. Norman & Ms. Spansel classes, 2nd, & 3rd grades
• 2nd - Kids Invite Someone Special (Grandparents or other family member) for lunch -- 1st, 4th, & 5th grades

• 2nd - End of first six weeks

• 3rd -Marathon Kids Kickoff Ceremony,11:00 at the UT Mike Myers Stadium

• 5th-9th- Fall Bookfair
• 6th - PISD College Fair - 6-8:30 pm @ CHS
• 7th-8th - Early Release both days @ 12:00pm to allow for parent conferences
• 12th - Student Holiday

• 13th-6:00pm-information on the Gifted and Talented Program
