To All Parents: Effective March 22 through April 23rd, the window to apply for both intra-district and inter-district student transfers will be opened. During this period, an electronic "online" application process will be available on the District's Web-Site. Interested parents and PISD employees will be able to "submit" the application, but only on-line. This method will drive the applications directly to one department/mailbox to compile and organize the requests in a date stamp order. Following the close of the application window, each campus principal will receive a list of the transfer applicants to review, approve, and/or deny. After principal comments have been reviewed by Administrative Services, letters or e-mails will be sent to parents regarding the decision by May 15th. a couple of reminders:

TRANSFERS
If you have a student here at Parmer Lane on a transfer basis or wish to transfer a student here, you have until April 30th to submit an application. Use the following link -- PISD Transfer Form 2009-2010 -- to obtain the form from the Pflugerville ISD website. You need to complete the form and take it to your home campus. After a signature is obtained from the home campus principal, the form will be sent to Parmer Lane for Mr. Acosta to review and then forwarded to PISD's Central Office for a final decision. You will receive a letter from PISD thereafter informing you that the transfer has been approved or denied for the 08-09 school year.
Family Fitness Fair 2010
PTO's Family Fitness Fair is on Thursday, March 25th from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. PTO's Family Fitness Fair will have Indoor & Outdoor Activities Races, Nutrition Station, Games & FUN!!! Students who attend 5 stations at the Fitness Fair will receive a homework pass. Volleyball Game featuring PLE Staff and PTO members VS. 5th Grade students

Catch Up On The C.A.T.C.H. Program
CATCH (Coordinated Approach To Child Health) is a TEA approved Coordinated School Health Program designed to promote physical activity, healthy food choices, and prevent tobacco use in elementary school aged children. By teaching children that eating healthy and being physically active every day can be FUN, the CATCH Program has proved that establishing healthy habits in childhood can promote behavior change that carry into adulthood.
