Frequently Asked Questions

How can I volunteer at SHES?

We love to have volunteers at SHES.  Prior to volunteering you will need to complete a Volunteer Background Check form which is available online.

The process takes about a week on a normal basis.

There are always many different ways to help out - just to name a few:  shelving books in the library, helping in our Literacy Lab, making die cuts, assisting with book check in/out, reading to children, and clerical assistance.

What is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served at 7:00 - 7:30 each day. Students are sent to class at 7:35.

How can I pay on my child's lunch account?

Never have to worry about your child's lunch account again!  Enroll - FREE in My Lunch Money.com - create an account (NEED your child's I.D. number) and then you can add money, monitor what they eat, and even set spending limits!

Go to: mylunchmoney.com

Can my child wear HEELYs to school?

For the safety of the children we have made the decision to not allow shoes with wheels to be worn to school - please enjoy these fun things at home.

Please remember that anytime you visit Spring Hill Elementary you need to stop by the office and sign in to get your visitor stickers.  New Safety guidelines require signing in and out when visiting the school.  When signing your child out for a doctor appointment or if you are taking them out early, you still need to check sign in and get your visitor sticker.

Thank you for helping to keep our children safe.
