Principal's Message

Welcome to Westview Middle School, Home of the Wildcats!  Westview is a great place with much history and a continuous record of excellence.  Throughout the years, our staff and students have grown and excelled in academics, athletics and fine arts.  It is my expectation and our school goal that each Wildcat will continue to grow and excel.

At Westview, you will have the opportunity to be among the best and to run with other Wildcats ahead of the pack.   Our school offers a sustained commitment to middle-level students.  We ensure their safety and well being at all times and seek to develop effective, age-appropriate teaching strategies that stress exploration and discovery.  We welcome the opportunity to serve as student advisors and advocates as our students seek independence, a positive self-image, peer acceptance, and pride in their identity. 

It is important to remember that learning is the goal and priority for everyone at Westview.  The middle school years will bring many physical, emotional and social changes.  Parents, get to know your child’s teachers and become involved in the school and in your child’s learning experiences.  Parental support and involvement are extremely important and most welcomed.  Students, be active learners, get involved in extra-curricular activities and set learning as a priority.
