From the Principal...

This is a time at Windermere Primary School when we are holding each other up.

We are holding up Kelli Sureck, our counselor, with good thoughts and hopes of quick recovery. She has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and will be out for several weeks starting this month.

We are holding up high expectations for kids. The students are working very hard on their math and reading skills, practicing fluency for both every day. We are also watching for STARS behavior in all areas of our school. If you want to know more about fluency or STARS, please ask your child's teacher to tell you how you can help at home.

We are holding up Debby Krueger, our instructional coach. She is taking a position for the district as the parent liason, but we are keeping her here as long as we can. She will report to central office starting in December.

And we must hold up our safety standards at WPS. Please be very caustious at our drop off and dismissal times around our parking lot and school zones.

Remember to ask specific questions of your child about their day each day. Enjoy the conversations with your little learner!
