ELA, PE/Health, and Fine Arts curriculum teams have completed the first phase of curriculum writing. Here you will find the Vertical Alignment documents that outline the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) as they are taught across the grade levels, including specific content standards for each grade.
Each grade level document includes the expectations for the grade before and the grade after to help teachers align their teaching from grade to grade. The state standards, TEKS, are listed in black print. Clarifying specific content standards developed by Pflugerville teachers are listed in red print. These vertical alignment documents will be utilized to develop the curriculum bundles.
Please take time to review the documents and, using the solution seeking feedback form, provide feedback on this first phase. Teams will be completing the writing process this spring and the 2009-2010 curriculum will be posted by July 13, 2009.
