Language Arts Math Science Social Studies Author Email The class will create a friendly letter to send to their favorite author. Coordinate Picture Students will create a picture in spreadsheet by shading in the cells given by the teacher in coordinate form. Animal Classification Students web characteristics of mammals, birds, etc. in Inspiration. All About Me Students use KidPix to share information about themselves. Class History Use Powerpoint to chronicle daily events. Fact Families Students finish a fact family web in Inspiration. Habitat Slide Show Use the computer to research habitats, and create a slide show in KidPix. Favorite Winter Holidays Use KidPix to create a picture graph of students’ favorite winter holidays. Log In Practice Students practice keying last name, first name and student ID number several times to help with memorization. How Much Time? Create a slide show in KidPix ordering three events by how much time they take. Living Things ABCs Use KidPix to illustrate a living thing for each letter of the alphabet. Roxaboxen Map Students will create their own “Roxaboxen” map in KidPix. Library Card Catalog Students locate a book using the online library catalog. Letter Graph Students use Graph Club to graph the letters in their names. States of Matter Students will demonstrate an understanding of the three states of matter by creating a picture in KidPix. I Am Thankful Students use KidPix to share things for which they are thankful. Rebus Story Students will create a rebus story in KidPix. Shape Picture Graph Use KidPix to draw a shape picture and use Graph Club to graph the shapes used. Nocturnal Animals Book Students write and illustrate a class book about nocturnal animals in KidPix.   Story Problems Create and solve story problems with another class via email. Shapes Students draw, identify, and classify geometric shapes in KidPix. Teeth Students will view a BrainPop.com movie on the different types of teeth and the parts of a tooth as an activity in a dental health unit.   Word Wall Activities Students do various word wall activities displayed in Powerpoint. Subtraction Students will create their own subtraction problems and answer them. I Went Walking Students will communicate in writing about things they saw on a walk in and around school using Appleworks Drawing.   Arts Online Help Students learn how to access online help in KidPix.
