Menu Pattern & Meal Prices

Offer vs. Serve

PISD participates in the Offer vs. Serve Program. This program allows students to choose what they would like to eat. The meals are broken down into components and the students are required to take a certain number of components to have the meal qualify as a reimbursable meal. The following charts show the breakdown of these components:

Breakfast

Side Dish # 1 - Student may select one
Side Dish # 2 - Student may select up to 1 item
Milk - Student may select or decline
A minimum of 2 items must be taken
A maximum of 3 items may be taken

Lunch

Entrée - Student must select one
Side Dish- Student may select up to 3 items
Milk - Student may select or decline
A minimum of 3 items must be taken
A maximum of 5 items may be taken
