Parent Advisory Committee In creating a new avenue for parents to provide feedback to our Special Education Department, we are developing a Parent Advisory Committee. We would like to invite any parent of a student receiving special education services to participate in this process. The purpose of the PAC is to review annual Special Education goals, to gather input on areas of service improvement, and to share responsibility in promoting more effective programs for special education students in PISD. We anticipate this committee will meet a minimum of two times per year, once each semester. The first meeting is planned for Spring, 2006.
