Related Services

Related services necessary to enable students to benefit from their special education instruction may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Counseling/Psychological Services--Individual and group counseling to facilitate a student's social and emotional functioning within the school setting.
Occupational Therapy (OT)--OT in the areas of fine motor, sensory motor, self-help and cognitive/vocational skill development.
Physical Therapy (PT)--PT in the areas of walking patterns, postural deviations, cardio-respiratory problems, neuromuscular function, and gross motor skill development.
Orientation & Mobility (O&M)--O & M for students with visual impairments needing instruction to access the school and community independently.
Special Transportation
Health Services
Assistive Technology
Others as recommended by the ARD Committee.
