The Foundation, established in 2006, is a non-profit organization that operates independently of the school district but shares the district’s vision for quality education with a commitment to excellence. In the last four years, the Foundation has awarded 83 Innovative Teaching grants and funded numerous educational programs totaling more than $237,000 to Pflugerville ISD students and teachers. The scope of the grants and programsvary widely: affecting an individual classroom, an entire grade level, multiple campuses, or the entire district. Grants are used to help develop, implement and sustain new teaching strategies, innovative ideas, and other initiatives to enhance instruction and educational opportunities as well as recognize exemplary students and educators. Since 2007, 157 teachers have received grants from PEF and over 20,730 students have been impacted by PEF grants and donations. Contact Allison Murray at 512-594-0375 or Allison.murray@pflugervilleisd.net for further information on the Foundation’s outstanding work.
Giving back to those who give so much to our community! Employees will receive up to $10,000 in options OR up to $5,000 in closing costs. This amount is determined by the base price of the home and equates to 2% in options OR 1 % in closing costs. In addition, a $1,000 donation will be made to the Pflugerville Education Foundation when each employee sale closes. Please contact Anna Hernandez, Community Partner Program Manager, for complete details on the Program. 512-343-3217 This is just our way of saying thank you for all you do!
