Teachers, Humanitarians of the Year Announced
Staff members to be honored at the May 5 Employee Recognition Banquet
Each year, PISD campuses choose a Teacher of the Year and Humanitarian of the Year to honor excellence in classroom education and positive interaction in the community. These outstanding educators inspire their students, their colleagues and the communities they serve. Teachers and Humanitarians of the Year will be honored at the District's annual Employee Recognition Banquet on May 5. The Elementary and Secondary District Teachers of the Year will be named at the banquet and will then compete for Texas Elementary and Secondary Teacher of the Year.
